Saturday afternoon was a dangerous time to be on the road in north Mobile County, according to a report from the Mobile Press-Register detailing a series of car accidents presumably caused by one man.

The Theodore man who is believed to be responsible for one death and three other motor vehicle accidents has been arrested and charged. He was reportedly driving a Dodge pickup truck when he hit a Toyota Tercel and killed a woman passenger in the car, then left the scene of the accident. This first collision occurred on U.S. 45 in Chunchula.

Then he caused three other minor collisions as he fled. Finally a police officer and a concerned motorist helping him, pulled the man from his vehicle and arrested him.
