The Press-Register reported yesterday on a two-car crash on Airport Boulevard near Newman Road in Mobile that injured five people, including an infant.

The vehicles collided at about 10:20 a.m. Sunday when a man driving a 1991 Ford Mustang hit a 2000 Nissan Maxima while trying to make a turn.

The injured included a 5-month-old boy, his mother, a 5-year-old girl, her mother and the man driving the Mustang. All of the injured were treated, with the mother of the baby listed in critical condition.

According to Alabama State Troopers, neither of the drivers was under the influence of alcohol, and no charges have been filed in the crash.
