I had business in Tampa this week and used the InjuryBoard office for my depositions. It is interesting to "see" this site from a different angle. I ate supper Monday night with Tom, Nick, Angus and Patrick. Most of the conversation centered around InjuryBoard - the philosophy, what works and what doesn't, site improvements, etc. I would encourage any IB members (or anyone else, for that matter) visiting the Tampa area to give them a call. It's like listening to an author read from her newest novel after you read the first two.

What you really see, meeting one on one, is the passion they have for their vision and the thirst for making it better. You do not see that in a lot of businesses. They care for the members, the consumers who come to the site and the message itself. If you found this site looking for help with a legal situation, you found the real deal. If you are a lawyer who is looking at InjuryBoard for the first time, understand that this place is all about changing the national debate about tort reform and related issues with the most powerful weapon there is - the truth. If you are an IB member, feel good about the mission.

Good work guys - and you, too, Marsha.

Patrick - Please send copies of Groundswell to Pete, Billy, Pete and Troy.

And folks, if you're looking for a law firm that walks the walk (as opposed to just talking the talk on late night TV ads), look no further than Burns, Cunningham & Mackey. They are the real deal. And more importantly, they are the type of folks you'd want to have a beer with. How many lawyers can you say that about?

Pete,

Thanks for your kind words about InjuryBoard and the team. I was headed to Austin on an early flight yesterday, so I was sorry to miss dinner with you and the guys, but hearing your thoughts expressed this way is very rewarding to me. After working with the InjuryBoard family for most of the past decade, I think it's safe to say that they'd walk through fire for the members and each other. Few people have jobs as rewarding as ours. Thanks again for the visit to the Tampa HQ - we invite all our members to stop in while they are here.
